afterblue / noun

The color indigo: blue infused with a splash of red.
Life after heartbreak.
Re-birth.

Rooted in the visual and emotional universe of earthgirl’s debut album, afterblue is wearable transformation. Blue is the stillness of grief and the grace of being weathered by life. Red is the fire that breaks through it. When the two collide, you get indigo – a shade that fuses together elements of both colors to create something new.

Every piece is one-of-one to honor the process of renewal. Dyed using all-natural elements—from botanicals to tea—each piece carries its own unique variation, depth, and character. No two are ever the same.

Hand-screen-printed across the fabrics are the core symbols of the earthgirl universe: the sun, the moon, the stars, and the third eye. They serve as quiet talismans of intuition and evolution – wearable art built for the ones who have weathered the storm, and are ready to begin again.
